SWTOR Travel Vehicles - Level requirements & credits

It's kinda sad.... lots of ppl will stay with the first mount for a while imo ... lol

As to the credits I'm not worried. I was level 7 and had 5000+ credits in 3 or 4 hours on the beta.

Any of you that may be worried about the credits, don't. By level 20 you'll be swimming in the credits. Also, I'm sure the speeds will be slightly changed.

Last time I checked, they were very slow..seemed 80% (i'm not sure and I might have been changed). I think they followed the same idea as Blizzard, in terms of "taxi" speeds

I think those will have the epic vehicle speed, at least that's how I think it's normal.

Everyone missed a big point here. The vehicle price is correct; however, you need to acquire (40k) the skills to ride. I am level 28 with 58k in the bank. I am not willing to shell out 90% of my money to get the ride. The skills price is TOO high.

What was failed to be mentioned in this guide is the price of the mounts are correct, however there is a 40k credit riding skill that needs to be purchased from your class trainer at lvl 25 to ride the 90% speed mount, and im not 100% sure but i assume it goes up incrementally at the speed of the mount goes up.

Can't agree more playing in the beta last weekend when I hit lvl 20 hour before the beta ended I had 31,000 credits. Whether or not that holds true when swtor goes live is another qeustion good thing I preorder the CE.

I was level 19 and broke when i realized how much a mount + training would cost (i had been leveling my professions which it pretty costly, Especially with no place to sell anything because there was no trade going on and the GTN (auction house) was just too cumbersome to use.. so no one did :/).. But when i hit 25 i had over 60k credits and was able to but the mount and training.. so don't freak out about the cost. And i do have to admit it was so well worth it.. getting around is really fast and you will make up for the lost cash quickly by increased questing speed.
P.S. The cost of training the first stage is 40k and the mounts are 8k
P.P.S These are ground mounts.. you can not fly with them.. not even in the city's.. i was very disjointed that i still had to take taxi's to get around .. also the mounts don't work everywhere. They did however work inside on some occasions.. like in the questing area's so you could get around a lot faster

I believe the costing quoter you have read is incorrect. The cost to to buy the mount is 5K and then 40k to learn the skill.

From a developer standpoint mounts are one of the largest ways to take money OUT of the economy and keep it healthy preventing inflation.
