Cybertech Leveling Guide: The Fastest Way

Cybertech is one of those Crew Skills that can be used by any class. Let's see why: you can create mods, gadgets, grenades, armoring, earpieces...and some speeders. As we've already used you by now, this guide is aimed on leveling Cybertech easy, fast and as always, cheap.

If you are leveling Cybertech on par with your character, you can craft the items that benefit you more, by choosing their Aim/Cunning/Str/Willpower versions. Also, you need to keep in mind that calculating and buying all the materials it's not a viable option since Reverse Engineering will return a considerable amount back. Oh and one more thing, each crafted item gives 2 skill points.

Good guide! I'm already a 400 Cybertech, and would highly recommend it. I've done very well selling all items, but especialy ship upgrades and droid parts. The high end ship parts sell on my server for 30-40k each! Would only add that you strongly need underworld trading and scaveging to level up well.

Even thought it's not part of the "get to 400 ASAP" that this guide is great for, make sure that you RE as much as you can. I've found that the blues that come from randomly learning new recipes each time you RE sell well on the GTN. I've found that continuing to put up armoring and mods in the low-30s to 40s range sell really well. People are constantly looking for upgrades to their orange armor as they level up and it's a nice little earner.

And, if you have the purple metals, go ahead and RE the blue recipes that you've learned so that you can get the purple ones. These sell very well on the GTN and you'll be earning credits like crazy!

Gosh, ive been doing Armstech but I hate it so far...i might actually switch over to this...i know ill be behind but I have noticed more of a need for this stuff over the crappy weapons i keep making...haha

pretty much done with arms myself, will regret losing investigation & arms 400, but i still have 100+ BoE items from levelling that haven't sold, then throwing up rare.epic barrels, that don't sell, cyber looks like the ideal option.
