• Alderaan Datacrons Locations

This page contains every Datacron on Alderaan along with their stats, coordinates and how-to get it instructions. There are a total of 5 Datacrons present on Alderaan.

Datacron 1 - Republic and Empire

    Purple - Willpower +3

Codex Entry - Galactic History 47: Naddist Rebels

    Coordinates: -2508, -426

This Datacron is located inside Castle Panteer, going through the main lobby, at the left, you'll see a door that's been forced open (-2490, -370). You can enter through the crack, go to the second floor (using the staircase) , then go around the right side of the room to reach the Datacron.

Datacron 2 - Republic and Empire

    Red - Strength +4

Codex Entry - Galactic History 46: Nadd's Legacy

    Coordinates: 2191, -2018

This datacron is located on a small ledge on the face of the Lerantha Dam. Getting this Datacron is a bit tricky since it requires you purchase an item, the MGGS (Magnetically Guided Grappling System) which costs 10k credits. The vendor which sells this item is Lain-Ricie at 1869, 1091 in the Juran Mountains (Specialty Goods Vendor). If you have a friend that already has the MGGS, you can borrow it since it's not bound to character. After you buy the MGGS, go to the location 2172, -1990 and use the MGGS on the Magnetic Stabilizer, which is the blue equipment just above the Datacron - you'll be pulled straight to the Datacron. There's another way to reach the Datacron, jumping on the ladder underneath the Datacron, but we recommend getting the MGGS since it's needed to the +10 stats Datacron later on.

Datacron 3 - Republic and Empire

    White - Aim +4

Codex Entry - Galactic History 43: The Great Droid Revolution

    Coordinates: 1104, 79

This Datacron is located on a small island in the Juran Mountains, that can be reached by a cable platform thing that moves constantly between the island and the station. You just need to go to 1182, -98 and follow the path up the mountain, where you'll find the station.

Datacron 4 - Republic and Empire

    Yellow - Presence +3

Codex Entry - Galactic History 45: The Krath Cult

    Coordinates: -82, -268

This Datacron is located in Glarus Valley, North-East of Outpost Gherent (near the river) - you'll notice a blue Thranta, named "Saddled Thranta" , which clicked upon, will take you to the Datacron. On the map screenshot, the Thranta is exactly in the front of the character (arrow) and the Datacron is marked on the map (the nest).

Datacron 5 - Republic and Empire

    Green - Endurance +3

Codex Entry - Galactic History 44: The Jedi Nomi

    Coordinates: 2722, 2496

The last Datacron from our list is located in the Ruur Killik Burrows. You need to go to Lain-Ricie (Speciality Goods Vendor) at 1869, 1091 in the Juran Mountains, and buy a Red Detonite Actuator for 2k credits. This item will help you detonate a wall within the cave, that will expose the Endurance Datacron. After you've purchased the item, go to 2374, 2449 (King's Pass) and fight your way until you reach the coordinates. Be sure the check the exact coordinates before adventuring inside, to avoid wasting time looking for that wall. Once you reach it, just place the Actuator on the dinamite on the wall and the Datacron will be exposed.

Just found a problem with the first Datacron for Willpower +3. Apparently, confimed in a quick search on the forums, Male Body Type 3 (the muscular one) cannot fit the opening.

      Not a fun discovery.

As a male body type 3 I used a technique where I was in autorun mode and pressed space bar while tapping the 'P' button and that allowed me to sneak through the crack for the WP +3 Datacron... Pretty amazing that it actually worked...

The ladder leading to the Lerantha Dam datacron on Alderaan no longer seems useable as of 1.2, I just keep sliding down as if the ladder no longer exists. Looks like Bioware are forcing people to spend 10k on the item to reach it.

I experienced the same problem. I was on my way there and had to leave game. Came back the next day, after the 1.2 patch, and it no longer worked.

For the Green - Endurance +3 in the Ruur Killik Burrows, it's useful to know that this is a Heroic Area filled with Killiks at 20k HP. You have to fight groups of 3 or 4 of them in order to get the Datacron. I didn't stand a chance alone at lvl 40. I guess you could wait till you reach lvl 50, or get a group of 3 or 4 friends to help you. Either way it's a tough one to get which is lame and time consuming =/

Ten Ton Hammer article on the latest Dye Job

I see both sides of this...totally understand why Bio did this, it's a way to make money fast. And people are still buying them as I see the "good"

Doesn't look like the dye system is working very well.

That's actually a good analogy...Blizz and Apple....Looks like both do their own thing and won't let anybody else touch it.
