    As Game Update 1.4 is getting closer, BioWare devs share their plans concerning class changes and balance. In a comprehensive Developer Update Blog post, Senior Designer Austin Peckenpaugh explains how several adjustments in key areas of class gameplay such as resolve & crowd control but also class changes are meant to bring players a more non-frustrating, balanced combat experience:

    The Grand Acquisitions Race World Event that started two days ago will be ending next Tuesday on August 21st, so that means that there are still 5 more days left for you to enjoy it and complete the missions and get the items that come with it. Although the event will end on tuesday, the Shady Dealer will be available an additional week after the race ends.

    It's official, BioWare just announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic is going to adopt the free-to-play model by fall. The game will be available in two mods: for Subscription Players and Free Players. The subscription mode is obviously based on monthly paid subscription that costs 14.99$ and has no limitations thus allowing you to play the game as it is right now.     David Hunt (Systems Designer): It’s an undesired interaction between the distribution of the mods and the move to set bonuses on the armoring. Future gear provides set mods will use the primary stat over Endurance for all DPS classes.

    Doesn't look like the dye system is working very well.
