Get a Free Tauntaun Ram Pet: Game Update 1.2 Celebration

Today Bioware brought us the massive Game Update 1.2 and they are still feeling generous: all active subscribers can get their hands on a free "Tauntaun Ram Pet" as of April 12th or April 21st.

Still, the surprises don't end here: active subscribers with a level 50 character will receive 30 days of free gameplay and former players will get 7 days of free gameplay between April 13th and April 20th.

Game Update 1.2: Legacy is finally here, bringing a wide range of new game features and playable content to Star Wars™: The Old Republic™! With Legacy, you can now create your very own Legacy family tree, sharing the skills mastered by one character with everyone in your family tree. You will also be able to experience new adventures, including the new Operation, Explosive Conflict, the Novare Coast PvP Warzone, and much, much more!

Does anybody know whether I still have time to lvl my char to 50 until the 21. of april, or is that for the tauntaun only?

I think the idea behind this was great but I think the overall implementation is BS... The reason is this... I do not have a level 50 character yet... I have a total of 5 characters = 46, 33, 31, 21, 20 ... So I do not get the free month?!? Seriously?! I have been a subscriber day one... and collectively my levels = 151 !!! They need to account for people who have many alts and not base it on (1) level 50 character... but a collective level total of 50 or higher...

If they don't change this rule I WILL be very upset with them...

Please do not forget two things:
A) Bioware is giving away a month for FREE! They wouldn't have... You would not complain if they had not given away anything
B) The free month for lvl 50 chars is a way of binding people that already have seen "everything" another month to the game...

Well I agree but I am upset that being so close to level 50 and I have put SO many hours into the game that I do not qualify for the 1 month free... I could have been like everyone else and rushed to 50 with a character...but that isn't how some people play, including myself.

I feel you, brother I've been playing since day one and I'm still 36 on my main.. I think I just roleplay too much ^^ and sometimes, I just drive around and look at the landscape and chat with all those nice people out there
