Game Update 1.2 brought us several mini-pets, such as the Orokeet/Orosquab/Orochick birds, obtainable in several steps. There are several places where you can get the eggs:
Step 1: Get the egg(s)
Orokeet (Unusual Egg)
There are 2 spawn places for the Unusual Egg, both on Alderaan. Reports show that the respawn time for the eggs is roughly 4 hours.
Orosquab (Mysterious Egg)
This egg drops from the last boss in Flashpoint: Lost Island.
Orochick (Wonderous Egg)
Drops from Warlord Kephess in Operation Explosive Conflict. (Hardmode)
Alderaan
Location 1 (Unusual Egg)
The first spawn point is located within Kaamos Territory, around 1930, -1451. You'll notice a cave entrance at these coords, you need to enter the cave, follow the path until you reach its end. Once you get out of the cave on the other side, you keep walking a bit until you'll notice some ruins. (Don't enter the ruins). At the left of the ruins, you'll notice a cliff top. From there, you'll see the eggs nest you need to reach. Jump from cliff to cliff until you reach the nest and claim your egg.
Location 2 (Unusual Egg)
The second spawn point is located within Alsakan Lowlands, around 168, 1836. It's right below the broken bridge, you just need to jump on the tree below and from the tree, to the eggs nest.
Location 3 (Unusual Egg)
The egg is located near Castle Pantheer (see map). You need a MGGS for this one - just stand on the pile and aim it at the Magnetic Stabilizer. Big thanks to Machin-Shin for feeding us with the tip and the screenshots.
Step 2: Go to Tatooine
On Tatooine you need to get the “Refreshed and Sustained” buff. For those familiar with Pure Shockfrozen Water or the Pink Magenta colored crystal, it will be very simple. Basically, you need to go to Tattoine’s Judland area and look for Water Towers (scattered desert structures that have a Water Access Panel square panel on the side). Once you drink from the water panel, you gain the Refreshed and Sustained buff.
Step 3: Hatch the eggs
And of course, to hatch the egg, you need a powerful heat source. The heat source can be found within the Dune Sea on Tatooine (at the Czerka Archaeological site, around -2330, 405), so you don't need to leave the planet after you get the buff. You'll find a solar panel structure (see screenshot) - you need to stay underneath the structure (where the solar panels point inwards), to hatch your egg(s). You'll notice that you gain a debuff called Heat Exhaustion that will kill you unless protected by the Refreshed and Sustained buff.
