Now here's an interesting Crew Skills map, from a slightly different perspective. It shows which class categories (Force/Non-Force users) benefit more from a specific crew skill and also, which are their complementary skills, in order to benefit more.

Players that have the Bioanalysis gathering skill may already know that Voss is a great place to farm grade 5 Biochemical Compounds and Samples (Quick-Growth Agent, Parasitic Microorganism, Nutrient Gel, Red Goo and Psychoactive Compound). These are crafting materials for the Biochem crafting skill used to create high-level reusable and consumable stims, medpacs and adrenals as well as implants.

Gathering these mats by sending companions on missions doesn't require many hours spent in game but you would have to log in periodically, something which most players can't do. If you find yourself in this category then farming is the answer. On Voss you can:

Slicing is the gathering crew skill that, compared with the others, is independent. Slicing allows you to get lockboxes (which contain credits), augments, rare schematics and mission schematics for all other Crew Skills.

There are 2 ways to get your slicing skill up.
First one, and the most profitable one, is going to gather the lockboxes in person.

Archaeology is the Crew Skill that allows you to mine nodes of crystals and artifact fragments. Artifice and Synthweaving are the crafting skills which use the materials gathered by Archaeology gatherers.

In the table bellow, you will find out on which planet you have to go for a certain material, what is the required Archaeology skill level in order to gather it and also the material's Grade.

Artifice is the crafting skill that enables you to create single and double-bladed lightsabers, lightsaber mods, enhancements, generators and focii. The crafting materials used by Artifice are provided through the Archaeology gathering skill and Treasure Hunting mission skill.

This guide lists the items and crafting materials you need in order to get Artifice to max level cheap and fast. Please note that all items will give 2 skill points, but only if they are crafted in the appropriate skill range. Remember when calculating the mats, that Reverse Engineering gives you a fair amount back.

Biochem is the science of attribute-enhancing chemical serums, medical and biological implants and everything "bio enhancing". Shortly, you can create stims, adrenals, medpacs and implants. This crew skill is particular useful since adrenals and stims are most needed in PVE.
