Stuck at first loading screen

Have you read the launcher logs (game location/logs) to determine where things are hanging? Have you put in a ticket? Or called their tech support (free in US and other locales).

I would just uninstall it then put up a fresh copy. Do a search online to determine where your user interface and preferences are saved and back them up so you don't have to redo them. I've looked and I can't see anything pointing to what these or this file is...

i done a complete re install and i can log into all servers except the asia pacific ones and thats where my characters are now

I have no clues...i just did a fresh install and i can log in.

Perhaps your ISP is blocking access for some reason.

Call tech support is my only idea left, then.

but i have been playing on this isp since the start of the game and its ony just started doing it i have put a ticket in

some times i can get in i got in about an hour ago and i just havent logged out i been playing since then im to scared to log out lol

ok now i can get in and can log into every server except dalborra the one where my characters are tells me connection error and i have tried everything what is going wrong

You can't log in with ANY of your characters on Dalborra? I just tried with the 2 I have there and both worked just fine. Also, the other 2 servers there are completely accessible to you? Can you create a toon on there, log out completely, then log back in successfully?

When you pull up the server list, does it show the correct amount of toons you have on Dalborra? Perhaps there is corruption in the files that hold your character, account, and settings info locally. When you reinstall, it doesn't wipe out that data unless you delete the entire folder and the config data in your user folder (mine is here: E:\Users\***_*****\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\setti ngs) ***_***** = YOUR user mane (i blocked mine out). If the settings file/files don't jive with the server side, i would guess you would be denied access (to avoid client-side hacking).

Try deleting the data in settings and let the server reinstate them for you. perhaps that will get you in.

it show the correct amount of toons on the list i tried deleting the data didnt work i can get into every server but dalborra i been on north american harbinger playing a toon on there because i just cannot get into dalborra says server connection error i been on the old republic site and many other ppl experiencing same problem as me i wish they would sort it out as i love this game lol

well i got on again. there may be something in the route that is down that is causing it to fail. find out what the IP address is to the server, if you can, and do a tracert. it will tell you if something is down between you and that particular server. other than that or calling (call them, screw the ticket) support is all i got.

Seems like on able to get on now. Passed 2 days has, been ok. But I still think bioware should compensate us for the time we missed

I have same problem. I am stuck on loading screen as was said previously and game goes to "Not Responding" state.

I tried to do fresh install, remove all data from AppData and nothing works.

Is there any other hint how to fix it? My frustrated e-mail to support is ignored for days...

EDIT: and new patch did nothing... probably time to cancel my sub :-/
