    Grey Characters

Since Bioware has announced officially that neutral or "grey" character alignments will be getting items in the semi-near future, I was wondering if anyone has chosen to go down this path. I have just started a Smuggler/Gunslinger that I am making grey because I think it just fits the class.

So far he's only level 15, but his Light side points are at 1000 and his Dark side points are at 1050. So right now my alignment is -50. I will say that it gets a little involved keeping track of your decisions because you don't get the points until you turn in the quest. That makes tracking things a little more difficult for me, at least.

Does anyone know if you slip into a Dark I or Light I can you come back to the middle?

If you're leveling a Grey character, Diplomacy is an almost necessary Crew Skill. It allows for you to 'at-will' increase Light or Dark Side points. I'd highly suggest it.

as Carraig said Diplomacy is an awesome crew skill if you're shooting for a grey character. But to answer your question, yes. Your decisions will move you back and forth. For instance on my Sentinel I had been playing mostly light side but felt like he needed to 'toughen up' a bit recently. Now the Sent had been LS IV prior to starting to make DS decisions. After a few quests (i dont have Dip as a skill on the toon so quests are really the only way I have to effect it) he is now only LS III.
