I just can't stop Bounty Hunting!

I got my Powertech up to 50 a few weeks ago, and after I spent some time getting him raid geared, I start playing around with alts. I made tons of alts trying to figure out who my #2 would be. I level Snipers, Sorcs, Marauders, Assassins, and even a Gunslinger all past level 10, trying to get into a groove.

Finally it dawned on me that there was only one thing to do....

..level a Mercenary. I just love my BH's too much D:

I love my merc too! I also love the fact that the BH's first companion is the healer companion, I think it's funny when I'm in a furious battle with 2-3 silver mobs handing out bought justice and she asks all nice and calm... "you okay?"

Ya keep my backside alive and I'll be fine!

Same exact thing happened to me, except I went the other way. I leveled by Merc to 50 and now want a tank alt so I have a character to jump on when we are short a tank and I level a Jugg to 23 and don't like it. Tried SI and it was meh, so now I am probably going to just level a PT. I love Death From Above while leveling, makes it an easy choice for me I think.

This is sort of what I did in beta. I just sort of rolled everything and got them all in the 10-15 range. I was really intending to play a Smuggler as my main.

Just didn't work out that way. Ended up spending way more time on one character than the others. Guess which one that was?

Great. Now i want to lvl a PT. I think ever since my first encounter with one in Huttball where i got pulled into a pit of acid and stuned is when i wanted one. And with my Merc being all light side, i'd like to see the dark side of the BH story to see how things differ. I know of at least one or two situations within the story which would change things(like letting a certain Padawan live).

I was also wanting a tank so I lvl'd a PT to 12ish but didn't like it as much as my merc. The merc moves the appearance of oomph with knockdown and booms. The PT just doesn't seem to have that.

No screamming or nothing... =(

You should have stuck with him until you got his 31 point Adv Prototype skill.

Immolate is pretty damn impressive looking.

Is that the move where you launch what looks to a napalm or fireball that explodes on impact? Not only is that impressive, it hurts... a lot... painfully... and makes me want to make smores. mmmm... marshmellows, guess what I'm having for dinner tonight.

I can sympathize with this. I was a little burnt out with my SI and rolled a power tech so much fun.

Anyway I'm playing them in rotation, each gets a planet then I switch, he'll be in the sig eventually but what I wanted to ask was this...

Does the ship remind anyone else of Serenity, only with guns?

Same thing. Lvled a merc to 50 (light side). Created a sin, a sage, a scoundrel and a PT. Decided to make a rotation on how I lvl them. Ended up just sticking with a PT. BH just wins all. Can't wait to get to Taris and finally get a good-looking helmet.

Okay that being said, you guys have convinced me to roll a bounty hunter. Assassin tanking is cool for the agro management and juggie for single target, but flamethrower, jetpacks, and serenity for a starship? If only kaylee was my mechanic

I'm part of the double booty hunter club. pyro powertech dps is so OP no wonder we are scheduled for a nerf in 1.2

merc dps is also easy to pour out dps. the only thing I didnt like was merc healing.

Ha well I'm glad it is not just me. Now where can I get a nice orange trench coat for Mako? The skin tight leather is fun but the trench is bad ass.
