Rapid Response (trooper class mission on Tatooine) *spoiler, kinda*

This is the mission where the suicide bomb droids swarm you. I've tried this mission a few times (the latest at level 30) and I die with a quickness. I've used stims and concussion and all other strategies but there's just too many.

I think there was one time where I got them all but not before dying. After the respawn there was nothing I could do to complete the mission. WTH. Anyone else have problems with this?

I was a little higher lvl when i did that so i had enough HitPoints not to die I didnt have to do anything special other then maybe using the melee ablity that knocks every thing around you away.

I did it at 27, after several tries, when someone finally gave me this strategy: run away. Put up your shield, be ready with a medpack, and just keep running away from the droids until they've all blown themselves up. I did keep throwing out grenades at random targets while I moved around, and eventually they stopped coming.

You guys talking about the first mission once you talk to the Major? If you are, all i did was run away and ion pulse them to make em stop so they blow up. I was only lvl 24.

I've tried to run at times but once you get into combat you're stuck in walk mode. I've actually finished it once but I guess my quest has a bug because it will not allow me to complete it or converse with any of the NPC's when It's over.

In the past i had died during a wave of mobs on a differnet quest, it bugged the quest not allowing the next wave to spawn or the clicky to be come clickable. I had to abandon the quest in the "L" quest log and restart it.

same here. did it i think around level 24. had Elara, she kept healing and I kept AOEing as much as possible and just running around like a headless chicken. I died, then came back in thinking i had to do it all over, but no.

Did it at 29.Let the droids come up to you, they'll stop moving and prep to detonate. When they stop move away, can't run.

I got this second try. When they first started swarming, i didn't know what the hell to expect so naturally i got blown to pieces. When i rez'd and talked to the dude on the ground again and the droids started coming. The 4x droid companion helped a lot with his grapple ability, and took some of them out of play. The droids damage is pretty short range so when they get close and stop (to explode) if you keep moving away from them they'll explode and you'll be out of range. If any of them get in your "moving away path" you've got plenty of abilities that push em back or knock em down.

Also, are you sure your quest is actually glitched? Cause for awhile i thought mine was until i clicked on all the injured surivors and "saved" them.

I had M1-4X with me at the time, because I wanted to try out my fancy new companion. Holy crap he died fast. Then I quickly joined him.

I wanted to think he would be awesome. After all he was the most baddest of badass war droids who it should have taken me over a year to wear through his shields. Or whatever her told me when I whipped up on him.

All he does is draw too much aggro and die very quickly when I use him.

I was very underwhelmed.

you need to make sure you stop the wave as a group and then run. I hope that helps.... or also send your companion to aggro instead of you.

This was nearly impossible for me. as a commando I used concuss charge constantly.
