    Crew skills 30+

I will preface this by saying my highest lvl char is 27 and I'm a certified alt-aholic (see my certificate: ), so yes this question may answer itself in the coming weeks as I pass lvl 30.

Anyway, at lower lvls when doing crew skills such as cybertech and armstech you quickly out lvl or quest rewards/drops make what you made less than adequate. At later lvls, when lvling is slower, do the blues and purples you make last longer or are more worth making? Or are they still not much better than drops/quest rewards?

I eventually got to the point where my skill was making things of a higher level then I could use, but when I got to them, they were a big upgrade.

What you might try doing is reverse engineering some to get the blue and purple gear of some stuff that is at or a little above your current level. That's where the big upgrades from crafting come from.

Other fact as you have mutli accounts, if you have statted equip you can craft and can fill the slots with blue/purple mods, sell them for a good chunk of change. Medium level equip isn't a bad place to make your money

I'm an alt-aholic too. My highest is 32 (Sage) while all my others are in their mid to early 20s. I have 4 Republic and 4 Imperial toons on my server. What I find myself doing now is crafting and reverse engineering mods to upgrade my orange gear or to keep an upgrade I can't use yet in the bank. I do the same with gear but I try and not get too far ahead as to keep credits in the bank. I also do a lot of arenas so my current level is a a few above the quest level so I haven't looted or been rewarded with an item of higher quality than what I have on in quite some time. And don't be afraid to look in the Galactic Trade Network. My Sage found an awesome orange lightsaber with kick-ass mods for around 1K.

I have found it to be very beneficial at levels above 30. I have synthweaving on one character at 400. I find that the stat appropriate purples for my new inquisitor are far superior than anything else I've found. Especially when equipped with an augment. I save my orange modded gear for my companions. Equipping my character this way as I level has enabled me to tear through stuff that's several levels above me.
