I tried to send someone a free trial but it gave me the you have reached your maximum amount of free trials...The problem is I only used 1 of the 25 available and it says on the same page that I have 24 left.

I had the same problem I'm afraid. Says I got 24 referals left, but I'm not able to send any, says that I don't have any left. Might be some issues they're having with "friend referal"

I had the exact same problem when giving out my first invite, but obviously it had nothing to do with running out of invites. Turns out that if the recipient of the invite already has an EA/Origin account they need to set up their communication preferences to allow notifications from EA or the invitation won't work.

Edit: here's what I got from customer service:

Thank you for contacting us regarding your Friends of SWTOR invite.

I understand you are getting an error message when trying to send out an invite to your friend. I apologize for the inconvenience. This error message may come up if you are trying to send an invite to a person with an Origin or EA account, and have chosen not to receive any emails from EA/Origin.

Please ask your friend to follow these steps:

1.) Log into www.ea.com with their Origin or EA Account Email address
2.) Click on the own Username in the upper right corner on the screen
3.) Now select “Contact Preferences”
4.) Tick the box “Contact me about EA´s products, news, events and promotions”

After this, you should be able to send out the invites with no problems. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to see you all in-game soon.

Hi everybody i m new at the fórum and i already read some guides and FAQs that you have, now i saw this topic and i tough "uhh finaly my opportunity to try this game". Could one of you send me and invitation for the free trial before i buy the game?
