Transferred servers with what remained of the guild and put in the ticket as soon as we reformed. 7 days later I get a response that we don't have 12 people in our guild. I replied back that then give us back our credits. Told to get bent and ticket closed.

So I know most of you are Bioware drones but come on guys doesn't anyone see a problem with this? I am seriously so mad I am ready to uninstall the game. I have never been brushed aside like some piece of garbage like this in my life. Maybe I expect more from people who want my money.

I really don't know what else to say. I am just stunned.

Oh and before one of the drones says "you shouldn't have transferred hur hur" I think most normal people will agree on a dead server it was not an option especially once everyone already transferred off.

Do you have alts in your guild? I do believe they count or go to starting planet an invite some random noobies. Hell I'll roll 2 alts to help you get 12 and then resubmit the ticket.

I'm not familiar with guilds and their structures and requirements. Why do you need 12? Why did you give away credits? If the standard for what you were attempting required 12 people, why would you expect a positive outcome if you didn't have the requisite 12?

Also, like everyone else I have had extensive dealings with support. Not all resolved to my liking, but I have never been treated poorly. Not only that, why would you be told to stuff it and not even been given your money back?

Experience has taught me that if you try another support person, the outcome may.have a better chance of going your way. Just smile and be courteous. It goes a long way.

You need 12 members to buy your first guild bank tab. I think its to prevent what happens in other games. Personal guild banks. I had 3 in WoW. What can I say I'm a pack rat.

Ah, I see. Well this will sound insensitive...why the hell try to pull a fast one and obtain a guild bank if you didn't have the requisite 12? Why is there complaining and why are you blaming support for not doing this for you? Not only that, for doing their job, you kinda give off the vibe you were less than cordial when you didn't get your way.

Also, I assume that they require 12 account holders, not just a total of 12 names on the list, thereby keeping 2 players from making a guild with 12-20 toons just to get a guild bank. Is this correct?

I think he had a legit guild but after the transfers it hasn't come together again yet. Now, to be honest, I have never had an experience like yours and I have dealt with the CS people about a dozen times. Keep grinding it until you get the right solution.

It could well be that it isn't possible to set up a guild bank if you don't have twelve, as it may be coded that way, and they probably have too strict rules around refunds. Keep at it.

You only need 5 seperate accounts to start a guild...but only 12 members(alts included i believe) in order to set up a bank...it would appear that with a little help from the wonderful folks here you can easily get that number and then some...

Seems I'm in the same position as Count Sacula, though I've just replied to them explaining my situation and waiting for a response. I explained that I had 12 members in the guild before the transfer to the new server, but we went seperate ways, some left for other guilds or left the game compleatly. I also said I wanted the bank back or else the credit refund. At the moment I don't care which, though I could use the guildbank. I think CS needs to be a bit leaniant for people who have transfered to a new server, it's not easy to get people into the guild when you don't know anyone on the server.

Count Sacula, I'll help you, just name the server and I'll create a toon.

I recently got a reply from CS and the response was quite different for me. Here's the reply below.

Thank you for contacting us to request the credits instead of the restoration of your old guild bank.

We have reviewed this for you and the money can only be transferred for the purpose of creating a new guild bank. We cannot just give you back the money if you are not going to use it for this reason.

What we are willing to do is make a note on your account for if in the future you do require a bank and have the correct requirements we will then create the bank for your free of charge.

Thank you for your patiennce and understanding while we investigated your issue, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Should you require further assistance with this or any other issues, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

You would think that they would try to make this transition easy for guilds as there is already enough angst for each one moving to a new server. It is not like Bioware is doing these transfers for some altruistic reasons. They could see the numbers of subs leaving each month by people on dead servers.

I am sure most people would agree that customer service can be quite a thankless job but I really have to question their overall attitude and incompetence in dealing with people.

It very well maybe the people they are dealing with. Your attitude towards them being incompetent and ever ones issue is game ending. Yes people tend to get short; human nature. You can keep smiling when someone calling you incompetent for something you can't control.

You problem may simple be that the game isn't programed to allow a guild bank tab to be created with under 12 people. That is design and not CS. Did you put all the money in for said guild bank tab or did guild members help? If anyone put any credits into beside you then CS can't give you someone else credits because you have op to no longer have a guild bank.

CS is the most thankless job ever. If people don't get things their way. The bitch and complain and call CS incompetent. When they solve your problem how many people thank them?

I'm just biodrone that has offer to help you solve your problem and give you more player in your guild. But you rather turn this into game ending.
