    Companion stats for gear

    What secondary skills stats go with which companions? I used Vette and Quinn the most on my Jugg. I have the crafters to make all the mods I need, but just not sure which secondary stats are best for each at end game, like doing dailies and such.

    As far as secondary stats... power is always nice... Get your affection up to max on all of them for nice presence boosts that will really help when soloing.

    Thanks, I have all my affections up to max. I understand the primary stats for each, just want more info on the secondary ones.

    well, I am not sure where you can find specific info on that. mainly because each player uses each companion differently. I like to beef up myself and companions with +crit stuff. Some like +power. My suggestion is you turn on detailed tooltips and take a look at each comanion's melee, tech, force, etc. category and see exactly which stats are giving them a bonus. Choose the ones that you want to focus on based upon your play style. The question to be answered is "What do I want this companion to do for my gameplay?"

    A question like this is tough to answer due to the complexities of the player's preferences. Kinda like coming up with a sure-fire way to pick a winning horse. Too many variables to do it.

    Vette = Gunslinger/Sniper

    Quinn = Operative Healer

    The basic stats for those ACs should match those two companions reasonably well. The couple of things you may not really need are accuracy and/or Alacrity. I'm not sure if these affect your companions as much as they would a player controlled toon that are those two ACs.

    Well, here's the thing. These companions may APPEAR to be like those AC's but they are not. The only way to see which stats affect each category for each companion is to cursor over them and see what is listed. They DO NOT follow conventional patterns as it comes to classes. Not all healers receive their Heal Bonus in the same way, nor do they receive that bonus from the same set of stats as a player character of similar actions. Spend time and hover over the companion screen and take a look at what they need to improve what you want them to do. As an example, Kira may wield a dual Sabre, but she does not act or have skills in line with a Jedi Consular. Companions are a unique blend of skills and abilities not seen, necessarily, in player classes.
