Which Augment for my Arsenal BH?

I'm a currently in the process of adding augment slots to my Bounty Hunter gear. He is Arsenal (DPS) spec with full Rakata gear.
I'm debating which Augment would be most beneficial to equip in the slots: Reflex (Aim), Overkill (Power), Critical (Crit rating) or some combination of these in order to do better DPS in raids.
    Any suggestions?

I chose Aim for my similarly geared Merc. I'll generally take a primary stat over a secondary one not least as dimishing returns do not apply. At the crit / power levels full Rakata gives you I would think the DR on secondary stat augments would be quite a hit. I have considered putting in a couple of accuracy augments to push me closer to 108%.

All this is based on the Merc post on the Sithwarrior.com forums.

Unless your Accuracy is at 108%, I recommend Accuracy first then Aim. If your Crit fully buffed is below 35%, then look into that as well, though in full Rakata im sitting right there.

TLR - Aim>Accuracy to 108%>Crit to 35%. Power over crit but that should be fine in Rakata.

I never understood why people focused so much on Power for an Arsenal merc. Maybe I'm missing something, but I always assumed Crit was better because crits vent heat.

That being said, it's probably best to get Aim augments. If your crit rating is under 300, maybe try to get that to about 350. Then accuracy, then power.

Simply put, short of Aim, Power has the greatest impact on sustained dps. Crit has benefits in a spiky, burst sort of way. Crit though is far easier to get to the point of DR than Power. Power is typically the third stat priority behind Main Stat and Accuracy. The exception is that one spec for the Sith Marauder/Jedi Sentinel, which is big time crit heavy.

Meh, it really seems to come down to personal preference. I find I do less DPS overall when I focus on Power over crit, and it takes more work to manage my heat. Not saying it doesn't help, just that crit is more important. I wouldn't say accuracy is as important either. Without looking, I'd say my accuracy is around 150 and I have 108.1% tech accuracy. Granted, ranged accuracy is only around 98% but my standard rotation includes only one non tech attack and it misses so rarely that I'd rather take it than take points away from crit, surge or power.

Its not so much a personal preference as do you min/max your toons. If you are looking to get the most DPS possible then Power is the way to go. Thanks to combat logs and stuff like Mox, you can see the real differences. I was a big crit guy but I switched after running ops with a similarly equipped Merc and his dps was better. My crit at 35% so its not that I'm at a real loss but the point of diminishing returns begins at 36% roughly, so stacking beyond this results in minimal dps gains. That's why Accuracy beyond 108% is wasted. Power has a higher threshold before diminishing returns.

Crit no longer vents heat, so power is definitely the way to go now for secondary stat focus. But the aim augments will be the best for you. You need a significant increase in power for it to beat aim, which is why the 53 aim/41 power mods are the best compared to 61/10 or whatever the next one down is.
