Anyone else here own everything in Legacy, along with every character perk on their main that isnt irrelevant (*cough cough* level 10/20/30 speeders *cough*)?

Why on Earth would you buy all that stuff for a level 50? You mention the Speeder perks as being irrelevant, what about all those xp character perks? On my main all my companions are at 10k affection, so those are useless too. Does anyone care about companions crit crafting when you can add augment slots to anything you want?

Legacy perks are useful for all your toons but character perks are pointless unless you are leveling an alt. The fact that you have them implies you have the money so good for you, they are designed as credit sinks.

They will if they're crafting augments, augment kits, or other mods, since crit crafting will get them two for the price of one.

Yeah sorry i seem to have not explained myself very well. The entire legacy is all good and owning all of it is 100% beneficial. What i referred to as being irrelevant, is the XP perks and the speeder levels for a 50, along with the companion affection bonuses to those characters with every companion at max affection. I was poking particular fun at the speeder perks purely because those above level 49... the ONLY benefit if you can call it a benefit... is that the perk is no longer greyed out.

Oh and i tend to break Legacy and per character bonuses down into two categories so they are easily distinguishable - Legacy rewards and character perks. I never refer to anything in Legacy as being a perk, so as to not confuse people.

For the record, the only character perks i own on my main - is the companion vendoring time, mail droid, repair droid, all the priority transports and finally the in field respec. I am considering grabbing the companion affection ones, once the eta on HK51 is announced. As well as the XP for class missions, space and flashpoints once level 55 eta is also announced.

You have to assume that once they bump the level cap, they'll introduce new speeders with a 4th level of riding. That 4th level of riding will probably only be available at 55, unless you have the character perk that makes them available at 50.

Those perks may be useless now at max level, but my gut just tells me that they won't be down the road.

I did buy the speeder perk for my smuggler (level 21) a few levels shy of 25, mostly to get through Nar Shadaa faster.

I'll get around to picking up the crafting ones on my primary crafters (synthweaver/armortech). I just haven't yet.

I doubt I'll buy any of the other leveling ones. I will do the repair robot for my 2 FP/Operations geared characters (sniper/SI Tank), if I decide to rejoin an operations guild.

Companion affection is a "meh, whatever" type deal to me, so I doubt I'll buy those.
