Defeating the Emperor

Am i the only one that is having or have had trouble with this last part of the class story? His one shot kill continues to kill me regardless of what i try to do. With the nerf in 1.3 i dont have the dps to quickly defeat him and my cooldowns for my interrupt are just too long to continue to use it until he is down. Pretty much tapped out on this one because reading the net many seem to think this fight is a cake walk and is until the idiot uses his one shot kill multiple times i might add. Killed my t7 first with it then 3 seconds later after already using my kick he one shots me everytime and there is pretty much nothing that i can think of doing to solve it.

Did this fight change because i fail to see how this fight is easy when he can use a one shot 44,000+ damage hit multiple times within 2 seconds of each other. Not very well thought out class ending quest if the answer is to find help or respec to a damage build.

He uses his i win cheat move to much and too fast for my cool downs to prevent it. It doesnt help either that he spawns so many clones of himself it's pretty hard to keep track of the real one. From everything i have read around the net those that beat him either dps the hell out of him and burned him down quick before he could use his one shot kill or they invited a friend to help them. Im perfectly fine until i use all my cool downs and then im basically s.o.l. at that point.

I did it pre-1.3 and had a minor issue with it. I recommend respecing to get the kick cooldown lowered. good luck.

It's pretty simple dude. Get your T7 to top notch specs, then stay out of the circle with all his doubles. The droid will always be on the right one, and you just force push his butt to where it's just you and him. When you get in a situation with all the doubles, just stay out of the circle on the floor. That's how I killed him, then feed him to my tauntaun.

Just remember - awe is your friend. Interupts are also necessary. He is beatable. I managed him as a Guardian in 1.0 after 9 tries. If you can, make sure your gear is up to date as well. Same for T7.

this is bull!!! 42 attempts and i still cant get this guy.there are only 3 interupts and they have way too long on cooldowns. he is WAY over powered. its like playing WOW al of the sudden. It is a very poorly thought out ending to the story line. AWE 1 min cooldown, Kick six seconds cooldown (not bad if u dont have 10 Elietes beating on your droid. My T7 has 13+k in hps does up to 600 in dps and im close to that. it just not right to end a story like this.

Run some HM FP's and get some gear Tionese or Columni gear. It helps a lot. Just two pieces can make a huge difference.

I haven't gotten to the end as a guardian, yet, but seems like plenty of people have done this. So it is clearly doable. Like all end bosses, he has his kill shot and his weaknesses. Once you figure it out you tailor your battle accordingly. Like if his One-shot is an area strike, run the hell away from the target that gets clearly painted on the ground. so what if you blow a spell doing it.

For me every act boss took me one or three tries to pinpoint their abilities and weaknesses (except my first toon because i wasn't aware of what the hell was going on so i died 6 times before i caught on to what was getting me). I went into each with the intent of getting my ass kicked and just watched what they were doing. THEN I came back and defeated them.

When all else fails, jeez, just hit the "interwebs" and use that newfangled google-thing.

I am not a guardian, but it took me 3 attempts and I was geared in whatever I had aquired through leveling or FPs up to this point. Also, my T07 was not geared to mention. I did get some gear for him from aligning the glyphs before the fight. The biggest help I can give is to move around. Everytime he stopped I got the hell away from him while he did that aoe damage ability then jumped back to him when he was done. T07 died farely easy in the beginning and I almost died on my last attempt. Just hang in there and try different things. And as for the WOW comment, if it was easy as hell then I would say it was more like WOW, which has become a joke.

When I got to him I had helped a few guildies out and had a cybertech alt that i got to make droid armour and gear. I decked out t7 with that went into the fight expecting hell and force leaped to him the split second he droped from convo and 1 shotted the MoFo. So the only thing I can suggest is to take a friend, interupts are a under used item throughout this game and rotations and gear are important, but it also seems every man and his dog try and find ways of beating the games mechanics and avoiding fights, so hell make an ops group and spank him with ur entire guild if it works

I didn't have to fight the emperor the game glitches in the starting of the fight and next thing I know he's dead
