After returning and rolling a new main. I decided to try a new style of play and became a healer....I am loving it and I don't know why. And tips or advice out there? I'm mainly gonna be a raiding type. Never was too good at pvp.

From a PvP perspective: We have a 50 merc healer who dies atleast 10 times a match. We also have a 50 op healer who dies half that. Because one knows how to position themselves in a fight, the other is just a stationary target. Position is the most important thing a healer can learn. It prevents them from having to heal themselves, rather than their team.
Any good tips on healer positions in the battle field I was thinking of rolling a healer here soon and i love pvp. Though it will be a major change as I am a major tanker when it comes to pvp lol. Just love diving in the mess of things.
You'll want to do the exact opposite then haha. Voidstar has those pillars in front of the doors the hide behind, you'll want to be positioned by the the heal powerups on either side.
Civil war- middle turret has plenty of pillars and you'll definitely want to be on the second level by the dps powerups. Side turrets are tricky, but try staying on the ground level away from the turrets, as there's a ton of aoe that goes on
Huttball you're on your own most of the time. Focus your heals on the ball carrier, use your escape plenty and KEEP RUNNING
Novare you'll want to stay at the back of the bunker as often as possible, and use the satellites as cover
Awsome thanks for the advice I.will keep that in mind when i start the healer I tend to create a character and work one at a time to 50. Almost to 40 now on my tank.
I'm no MMO god and SWTOR is the one I've played properly besides SWG. My first class was the Sorc Heal spec back in December and I loved it, first time ever being a healer. Saying that if you mess up, your team will die. As for PvP, I always shadowed a tank and a few DPS around him and stayed out of the enemies line of sight and it worked well![]()
