Sorry been gone, brad...I lost my job last month and it takes more time and effort to jump through all the teeny hoops than actually working. anyway...
Still, people keep telling you to buy stuff that is way out of your budget. an i5 or i7 will cost you considerably more than an amd a6 or a8 or a10.
But If you stick with your original choice of the 4 core a8 (? by msi, yes?) the nice thing about that machine is this: Intel can't do this cuz they suck, but because of the way the A-series chips have the integrated GPU on the chip (which makes them fast and efficient by themselves), the addition of the radeon (? was it 7250m? ) discreet, you can run them in Crossfire mode!

The discreet card is above average, but when paired with the APU 4400(?) it will perform quite nicely. Then all you really needed to do is spend the extra 20 pouns to get that model with the 8 gig ram instaed of 6. Then you would be sitting alright. Ferget that ENVY. You get less machine for more money, in my book. I say go with that one earlier.
Also, SSD's are really designed to be boot drives and application launch platforms. Due to their architecture they read really really fast and juts realy fast in the write department. Also, the more you write to an SSD, because of the memory used in construction, the quicker the memory deteriorates, thus, the time between failure goes from 2 million hours (like mine lol) down to shit. Use the HDD for storage (things that get read from often).
