August World Event

Not sure how I missed it, but BioWare has stated there will be a world event some time this month. I'm guessing Gree related (since the other content appears to be that way as well). Anyone else care to speculate?

I read on the official forums about some kind of federal they put up that was sort of cryptic. Like a log from imperial intelligence about a long lost ship. That's in outer space, not on Belsavis like hk51

Supposedly the ship is there now according to some people (though others have said they couldn't find it so it may be either a bug or them just messing with people). The said when you go into it there's an instance door they don't meet the requirements for and they can't do anything but leave.

I read somewhere on the official forums (I think from BioWare) that it WASN'T part of the world event, but we'll have to see. Might be cool to have a world event on a big space station or something.

I do like another world event, but i hope they take server population into account for it. I dont like fighting 64 people for corellia boxes Now i would have to fight 200+ people for the event.

That's going to suck.

When rankghoul event was going on my server was high pop repubs and they camped the vendor so u couldnt buy any thing it was terrible still have samples left lol so i hope its better then before

Benefits of being on a pve server, that would've made me livid.

You kidding? That's when you head to the fleet, get pugs and guildies, and start an all out war. Livid? No. Oppertunity for a unique and fun time? Absolutely.

I tried that and got flamed everyone said this is a pvp server we dont have time for that bit they had time to wait for a 4 hour pvp que lol o well water under the bridge and im alil better geared now so it wont be easy for them

What a horrible server that was. I guess I wouldn't know. Being on a pve server, us imps relish the chance to stomp some pubes when we can

It was bad but i was lucky enough to get what i wanted and then sum but i wished it lasted longer most people didnt wanna go to tat they said it was a hoax at the time if i remember it was around early april so i farmed the first few days uniterupted but im excited. About another event plus i got good money for the crystals afterwards

Even on the PvE servers you had that a bit. There was a group of flagged Imps on my server standing around waiting by the vendor with the infection (since they could flag you if they blew up on you). I got flagged but managed to stealth around and grab what I wanted before they noticed me anyway.

It almost sounds like a galactic scavenger hunt. Should be entertaining... but the load screens might get to me eventually.
