NOTE: This post will have a few spoilers so if you have not played a Sith Warrior and don't want it spoiled you shouldn't read it.

This character is my first Sith Warrior and I'm enjoying the storyline just fine. But last night after I finished chapter 1 and went to bed the following thought hit me....the "good" guys were so dumb they made my mission very easy. I'll explain... (spoilers)



I get to Alderaan and go meet Duke Kendo or whatever his name was. He's suppoesed to give me info on how to find the jedi padawan I'm hunting. I pretty much tell him outright "Cooperate or I'll kill you. Screw with me and I'll kill you twice." So whats he do? He tries to use me to kidnap a lady he has the hots for (I chose the option to let her go) and at the conclusion of our dealings I find that he rang up Darth Baras and badmouthed me. Ok, what was this guy thinking? That big bad creepy looking Sith Lord master of the darkside Baras was going to give me a demerit?

But it gets better! Folowing my leads takes me to get info from some alderaan lady general thats fighting the empire. I kill every living soul outside of her bunker, bust in and there she is with two skinny guys and a fat dude. She tells me that by killing all of her guys outside she doesn't have enough men to man some front. (good one general, telling the enemy where you're weak) I'm assuming that the next bit would lead to a side mission, one where I do her some favor in place of her men for the info I want. I declined and chose the option of "I'll kill the three stooges here if you don't spill it, lady.". Lady General defiantly says I'll get nothing until 2 seconds after I start to force choke the chicken**** out of one guy. Then she instantly caves crying "he's my boyfriend! I'll tell you!". (Too bad for all of those other guys I killed, huh? I'm sure they were someone's boyfriend, too)

Huh? Listen general, if you talk big and then don't even attempt to back it up no future threat you make will ever work. That would be obvious to anyone let alone a military general. But thanks for caving and plus telling me, an agent of of the very empire you're fighting that your unit is severely lacking in man power. I'll be sure tp pass that info to the nearest imperial battalion so they can kill you.

So then I go to find the padawans parents in an attempt to draw her out. They're lowly servants of some nobility. They have a jedi guard that apparently the padawan's master, Nomen, sent to guard them from me. A jedi who says he won't attack if I just came to talk. (????!) So I tell mom and dad that I can kill them or they can pick door number one and become citizens of the empire, I'll get them to Dromuund Kass AND give them a mega millions lottery jackpot of credits so they can live in luxury for the rest of their days. Keep in mind the jedi order has already told them they probably will NEVER SEE THIER DAUGHTER AGAIN. (how screwed up is that?) So they say sure, why not and the Jedi does....nothing. I assume he's thinking "Damn, why didn't I think of that?!"

I'll say. Why didn't you? YOU AND NOMEN KNEW WHAT I WAS AFTER! You could have gave a counter offer like "Well, I'll take you to Coruscant, gve you a double mega millions lottery jackpot and arrange for a big ol' apartment in the sky" or, and hell, I wold have done this....move them offa Alderaan to Tython or Coruscant where they'd be out of my reach before I even got there!

...and this is all before I o confront Nomen and the padawan who I beat up and make her join the darkside by kicking her @$$. Heck I made lightside jedi master Nomen dark too by beating him up. All made possible because the jedi sent one guy to stop me who must have been instructed not to do anything if I showed up after killing about five hundred guys just to get there. Sheeesh.
