Well... My first RPG was on the old dos based computers...
My first mmo was Ever Quest....
I do miss the old days of n00bing it up in Nektolis forest.

Back in the MUD days, I preferred the pen-n-paper games. Still played lotsa D&D onboard ship during most of the 80's and when in the barracks, we'd play a variety of Games Workshop games. those were fun. mostly cosmic encounters and battlecars.

My first was probably Battletech Crescent hawks inception. A grand old game for the c64. Right up there for me with gatto, mission Impossible and the racing destruction set.
Pen and paper I played battletech but that is hardly roleplaying. I think my first charaacter based pen and paper game was middle earth roleplaying system. Oh those wonderful critical tables.

The first one I played was the original Legend of Zelda on the NES, but I was like 5 or 6 so I didn't know what I was doing other than just hitting A or B and kill shit. The first RPG that I really got into was The Legend Of Zelda: OoT. First MMO I played was Galaxies but I didn't know what I was doing. The first MMO I got hooked on was WoW.
