So who is going to do it?

Who is going to break down and buy World of Pandacraft?

I am really trying so hard to stay away and I even uninstalled WoW but with Swtor being so stagnant I don't know how much longer I can hold out.

I can guarantee it won't be me. I love pandas, but pretty much despise all things world of warcraft. I know tons of people that love it, but personally I have never had fun playing it. Plus I'm pretty sure it would be a small fortune for someone like me to play it seeing as I don't have most of the newer expansions.

    Sutek,
They have made it easier/cheaper for someone to get all the expansions.

    Sac,
I will not purchase the expansion. I started WOW at the Lich King launch. I enjoyed my time with WOW. Raided a little. Leveled a Lock, DK, Pally and Mage to 80. The lock and DK made it to 85. My Lock was nearly Loremaster prior to Cata, just couldn't finish the grind. I just lost interest in the franchise. The monk class sounds very interesting and I was seriously thinking of switching my main to the mage. All water under the bridge.

I took them up on a free week offer not to long ago. I found WOW to be basically unplayable until I loaded and configured a butt load of mods. I really tried to play without them, just couldn't.

I have absolutely no desire to play it, as a matter of fact, I canceled my account the moment they announced it. The only way I would even think about buying Pandara was if I could play as one of the Arch-villains and light stupid Panda's on fire.

Now, if they would have done something cool, like say Demon Hunters, I would have been all over that!

Not I......I loved my 3 years of WOW, but when they started talkin about panda's, I was done. It was my first mmo, and I really enjoyed getting my feet wet. I took a pally, mage, priest, hunter, warlock...one of each class, to 85, but just lost interest in the game. After now playing SWTOR, Rift, and now GW2 I realize just how dated the graphics engine was. I do owe wow a lot, for teaching me how to play a mmo. but I won't ever go back unless they make a major overhaul to the graphics. I understand why people stay play the game....always new content and the holiday events keep it interesting. Plus Blizzard is really good about fixing game issues IMO. They also keep expansions at a reasonable price point to get everyone to buy.

Like Soul, I'm interested in the monk class...looks reall cool. But just can't keep thinking about seeinga million panda's running around. You know that's the first thing that everyone is going to make when they install the expansion.
My account is deactivated, but of course could jump in at any time. I still have tons of gold I need to give away someday

Last time I logged in, I had so much Saronite it wasn't funny.

I did all the holiday events on my Lock, doing them on other toons was down right painful. It was for me anyway.

I do miss playing, but the addiction factor with that game was to high.

That is pretty funny that some of you quit on Panda day. That was the day I decided I had enough. A month later I got into the Swtor Beta.

I also think that WoW really taught me how to play correctly, we at least with raiding and pvp. My problem is that i am playing World of Tanks and in the MWO beta but they are essentially the same game. Drive around and shoot shit until.

Here is a good site for anyone who really likes sandbox MMOs, it really surprised me that there are more than a few of them out there.

The person you are looking for is me I'm going TRY the being a panda.

I never played wow and with the pet battles and simplified talents I think this is the upgrade to have me give it a shot. Plus you should admit for a 8 year old game their art style still looks amazing.

The one thing I never got about bioware is to have an IP that appeals to the masses like star wars but then tailor it to mmo vets. Still love it but dam at least try to include the people who love to come home from work and kill shit.

My wife has been very excited about the idea of pandas and pet battles, but she's not willing to spend the money on it any more than I am right now.

Depending on what things cost when TOR goes F2P and how much the price of MoP drops by then (and hopefully also Blizzard doing the typical "come back and play for free!" thing they do a while after an expansion) she'll probably mess around with it some again. Likely dragging me with her...

I'll probably end up playing it for all the mini-games at this point. I have no interest in their progression system.

The ONLY thing I miss about playing wow was the flying.....IMO that was the coolest thing I have done, and yet to do, in a MMO. Flying over the zones and looking down on everything that was goin on was just to cool. And also just the ability to go anywhere you wanted, without the restrictions of having a mountain in your way or some other object, just made the game more fun for me.
I don't have a lot of mats left to give away Soul...just gold lol. Last time I did the "come back and play free" thing I gave away 10,000 gold to random people in Storm Wind. Trust me, it was fun, but believe it or not a lot of work! Word travels pretty darn fast in chat when some dude is giving away gold

I thought flying killed WoW in many ways. On my server we had giant wpvp battles going constantly. Raids on major cities as well as the usual haunts like Tarren Mills and Southshore. Throw on top of the dungeon queue and raid queue, you never had to leave your faction cities except to farm stuff. Now people could just fly away without ever fighting.

Solid points. For me though, it dramaticaly eased the leveling process, and just made the old game new and much more fun. I agree, you never had to leave your home city, but isn't that the case in all endgame mmo's now days??

Im not sure yet...I quit a 6 1/2 year Wow stint(Thats canceling my account and uninstalling the game all together) to play SWTOR...But for some reason im startin to slow down on SWTOR as well. Its been a toss up between SWTOR and League of Legends. But I am gettin kinda antsy just to see what the new stuff looks like. Its kind of a tough call for me
