I bought the annual pass so I'm still committed until November. I tied to play the MoP Beta and OMG trying to complete the quests was almost impossible and everyone was either a Monk of a Mage. I rolled a hunter just to NOT be a panda Monk. I decided to roll a human Monk instead, and what a difference that was. I practically had Elwynn Forest to myself. As for the Panda, as soon as I got to Stormwind I was filled with the "I gotta grind to 85?" dread and quit. I'll get the expansion just so I can still hang out with my guildies. But my main game...yep SWToR!

Pandaren interest me a great deal. Pet battles, not at all. As a whole WoW is too much a grind to ever bother with. I played from beta on through Wrath, with a 2 year hiatus. Started again for Cata when I loaded it for my girlfriend. Played a couple months and left for good. I don't miss it in the least. Blizzard games as a whole don't do much for me any longer. Diablo III was too blah. Played it for a week and uninstalled it.
May give GW 2 another test drive to see if it appeals to me at all. SWTOR has become a bit stale for me. Leveling alts isn't that much fun anymore.
Again dunno, the state of mmo's right now is appalling so it may be time to hang up the ole Razer Game Pad.
Happy Trails ya'll.
Oh how I do miss my 310% flying mount.
I just hit 50 on my Sage. That makes two 50s, one on each side. It was a bit of a downer. I feel this need to get my agent done with chapter 2 so I can level my trooper.
I'm just glad that tomorrow there will be a few less retards on our servers as they are playing Kung Fu panda. This coming from a 6 year continuous subscriber to WoW. I quit in Feb 2011.
I loved flying in WoW, it did more to boost City Raiding than anything else on my old server. We would all fly from different directions and land and commence to razing an Alliance City. No one would know we were coming. We did it as a guild, so all of us were on vent. It was fun. World pvp though died well before flight. Southshore v Tarren Mill ended with introduction of battlegrounds. All five servers I was on were dead to world pvp beyond random ganking and city raids.Originally Posted by SoulBender:41225
The daily zones would get pretty brutal too. I still remember grouping up to do the Sunwell quests on a PvE server just because people would intentionally get in your AoE just to flag you with their 4 buddies.
City raids were probably the most fun I had in that game though. Too bad I could only get people to do them when they still needed the achievement so we rarely ever went...
I remember the last night before Cata released we had three 40 man raids hit Ogrimmar. We RP walked from the back entrance to the front door killing everything they threw at us. Then we sat down out front at the tables setup. After about 10 minutes of being out in front we opened about 10 portals and left.
What was the tables out in front of Ogrimmar for? Any horde players remember?

Yeah I played both sides and don't remember any tables outside of Org......unless your talking about the feast tables people set out to replenish. You got me stumped?
I think Sasir is correct. Because it was the patch right before Cata. The one that changed everything preparing for the release. I think the next day all the city guards were bumped to 85. So that must have been right around thanks giving.
The thanksgiving feast was cool as were the other holiday festivals. That was a cool touch. We saw the occasional city raids but nothing like wpvp from before. I miss the hours of defending Crossroads and then trying to beat the alliance back to camp taurajo so they didn't annihilate that place then back to xr. I know in Wrath, Wintergrasp seldom changed hands more than once or twice a week. Maybe it was just the servers I was on. Oh well, I'm just waiting for the ranked pvp to start in swtor.
It was the server you were on Clamus68... Mine changed daily for a long time. Nothing like the rush to get into Vault when it changed hands.
