The only purple crystals I have seen are for lvl 50. Not sure they even exist for lower levels. Hope it helps.

You need to use purple font too.

No, there are lower level magenta schematics. I got one once and gave it to a guildie since I had no artificers. I think they are lvl 31.

Unfortunately, I don't roll on PvP servers so I can't help the OP.

I was not aware of any purple schematics for lower than level 50...I do know that there are the level 31 and level 50 Magenta. Purple was sold for a short time from a vendor shortly before 1.2. Many of the higher level schematics and color combinations come out of the PvP and Daily Comm vendors. Many of those are geared toward PvP.

Magenta Crystals are Pinkish. Real purple crystals are only level 49 Ops drops. I got a toon that has the purple power crystal from ec. I have an artificer that can make the magenta lvl 31 crystal. Its pink.

i cant remember which one it is, but there is a world boss that drops lower level color crystals. the one on alderaan drops one i believe though i cant remember which color it is.
