Couple of complaints with 1.4 beside the bugs.

First is the lack of new flash points. Being on an underpopulated server really makes it difficult to get groups for operations even as a healer or tank. I am not sure why the did not include one or two FPs to tie into TFB. They could have made them slightly more difficult than Lost Island.

Second thing is they removed BH coms from Denova SM...Also TFB SM drops...wait for it....Rakata????WTF?

I have no idea who is captaining the Bioware/EA ship but it is headed for that nice big iceberg.

Supposedly the patches are going to be small (meaning one major piece of content and some quality of life stuff) and they'll be aiming for every 6 weeks instead of >3 months. The next thing we'll see is likely the Hyperspace warzone to go with the theme of TFB.

It's not my favorite idea either. It makes sense to wait longer (though I can see why they felt rushed to get 1.4 out in this particular case) if it means a comprehensive tier of content released for all styles of play at once instead of getting an operation, then later the flashpoint designed to offer the 4 man equivalent, perhaps at some point some more dailies for the people who don't group, and still down the road comes something for PvP people

Flashpoints and operations have always had synergy (most people run both if they run either) and PvP tiers are released roughly to keep up so that it doesn't become a game of "gear up in PvE and then crush everyone who's trying to PvP". Dailies don't really try to keep up with either, but usually get a slight difficulty and reward boost and would make sense for them to go along with the themes for everything else too.

I realize the goal is to keep people feeling like they're getting constant updates and that's probably a good thing, but if they're going to be tying content together the way they have from launch (and most games do) it's going to seem sort of "old hat" by the time the 3rd-4th thing with the same theme comes out 3-4.5 months after the first of them was released.

I think it will still improve the community since people will be so busy complaining about something specific that released instead of just spending time posting "this game's bad and everyone who likes it should feel bad" posts. I'm just not sure how they'll work around the logistics of tiered rewards and the feeling that a theme has been dragged out too long.

I think if you play F2P games you should be subjected to a means test. Do you have a ****ing job? Yes? No free play for you cheap bastard. are you unemployed? Yes? Okay...play away for free. Final question: Are you 13 years old or younger? Yes? MapleStory for you and stay in school.

My complaint. Now you can't sell unusable pieces of tier gear for credits. If you turn in the token for an item you can only sell it back for the token.

If you pull the mods out, it costs more than you can make back by selling them.

So basically getting a piece of gear that you or your companions can't use is completely worthless now.

Ouch! I did not know that. No idea what I am going to do with my 500ish columi tokens then.

It was supposed to be a 2 hour window and then it reverted back.

Did you submit a ticket to see if that was the intended functionality?

What does having money or age have to do with a FTP model? I stopped playing star wars this month because it's just not worth $15 dollars for the content it produces (or lack thereof), and there are better alternatives. I have a very stable full time job, so I guess I should be paying monthly to play a game?

I didn't ticket it, but I did wait for the two hours (actually over night) and still could only get the token back.

I didn't try equiping it on one of my companions and then selling it back though. Will do that next time.

So...let get this straight. You quit the game, basically, because you think it is a piece of shit. Yet you continue to hang out in a private forum offering up pearls of wisdom about FTP under a thread covering an update you don't get and can't try out. Essentially, or in reality, you are a troll.

and my response was made to be as inane as yours. but my post was more pertinent to what you posted than what yours was to the thread you trolled in.

Actually seems like you're trolling me lol. All I made was a suggestion. I never classified this game as a piece of shit, and I hang around these forums because I enjoy the convos. This one excluded. No need to get butt hurt man. I enjoyed the game, but its just not worth paying monthly for.

Thats odd. I ripped the mods and sent them in a legacy helm then sold the shell after that and got 7k for it.

Lucious, you are ranting again. If you disagree with him then simply tell him that and move on. Personal attacks on people are needless. And it seems you get more worked up than a game forum is worth. If he quit for any reason then let it go. Some people have valid issues with the game. Discussing it here is a way to vent. Blizzard actually had a small team dedicated to Community Relations and part of that is combing through fan websites. Companies that make mmo's do pay attention to its leading fan sites.

Wait AFTER the 2 hour window, then u can sell it. I didn't have any issue selling off Rakata gear I had in my bank that I didn't use. But again I have had issues in game that few others had. So maybe my experience is the oddball one and yours is the one most others are experiencing.

I remember making a ton of credits farming columi coms and selling the gear. It was a great way of funding the repair bills from raids and whatnot. I can see why they put a 2 hour return window on it though, as it cuts down on the tickets people make when they purchase a piece of gear they can't use accidentally
