    F2P Equals more kids

I'm afraid when the game goes F2P we will see alot of immature people in game. That was one of the biggest things I hated about WOW. Alot of little kids playing world of Warcraft. Seems like there is a more mature game player base for swtor. So I was just curious how old most of you all are. I'm 39.

30 here - I don tmind if we get some kids on though, on the Asia Pacific servers we are lacking in numbers and I'm at the stage where any spike in numbers would be better than none

42 - No worries for me. I let a lot of things just roll off my back. Glass is half full and all that.

on the harbringer I think I killed jawa movie spam on the fleet.... twice

I would just open a harassment ticket and input a list of names of the jawa spammers, finish the ticket with JAWA movie spam END IT NOW. I filled out 7 or so tickets filled with 10-15 distinct names. a few days after the droogas pleasure barge merger to harbringer jawa spam happened again. I did the same thing again.

I have never seen jawa spam start up since.

in this game it seems the CS division throws out strikes to people accounts with little to no verification. I've had 2 out of 3 language warnings (3 strikes and you get a suspension) and I rarely say anything more than A$$ or $hit in fleet. and I had my account banned for a bit for gold spamming because I had a bank alt named susann-express. if they would have even glanced at the chat logs they would never have seen me saying anything about purchasing credits.

that said, I open tickets over any tiny little thing that bothers me now. and I'll be even more vigilant when F2P tards come into the game.

Foul language warnings? there is nothing prohibiting foul language. Now if that foul language is used in conjunction with threats or abusiveness toward other players, that they just heap on. never used the c-word or the n-word out of deference to racial and gender, but I have, on many occasion called people ****er or cocksucker, or used a variety of words in general chat without so much as a peep from anyone. Those who play the "i'm offended card" simply just get a reminder where the profanity filter button is located and usually that is the end of it. If that person brings it up again, usually the whole chat gets on their case and tells they to get over themselves. Most adults can handle profanity in general conversation. We realize they are just words.

It just looks like you are putting yourself on the radar, Mycro...that simple. I bet if I made a toon named Hydasalamy, I would be asked to change it. It's like the guy who keeps getting caught stealing cars wondering why it is always him that gets caught by the cops.

I'm 48. My last guild leader in WoW was 9 LOL. He was good, though. He wasn't old enough to have learned how to treat people like a dick in RAIDS. Cool kid and very bright. I don't mind kids, My 7 year old plays WoW and SWTOR. There are, by far, nastier, less considerate, and more foul players who are adults than kids. The only thing that the invite-a-friend did to WoW was throw the balance between Alliance Horde way off on most realm cuz most of the kids went alliance. Maybe by their choice, or maybe, I really think, by their parents insistence.

More kids equals more parents paying for content which equals more money for bioware/EA to ramp up development.

I'll take the negatives (if any) of having more tweeners on.

I Will say I played a lot of games this being my first mmo. When you talk about immature people This game is definitely 2nd of all I play. Too many people think they're bad ass behind a keyboard

I'm 35, but my son who is 10 also plays. He is very bright and mature for his age. Still, I'm always looking over his shoulder to make sure he is not being a douche in game. He knows Dad's punishment will be far worse than anything bioware can do to him. Although neither of our accounts are freebies.

So far the biggest problem he has had is certain groups totally lack the patience to teach and help new/ younger players. But I think we have all run into that problem regardless of our age.

I'm 49 and a female...and this is my first outing playing this type of game and I love it. I've been playing it since last January and I'm totally addicted to it all. (Although, sometimes I feel like such a noob.)

Anyways, I feel like I can always spot the "kids" that play this game. Like last night on Illum on the Harbringer, there was an Imp arse that was blowing up our sentries near the cantina. We'd kill him and he kept coming back for more. I'm not sure any self-respecting adult would do that over and over. But yeah, I eventually put him on the Block list.

    F2P Equals more kids

33 - I don't mind new players as long as they listen to your instructions. I had one situation were I was a healer and a DPS just kept pulling and spamming mobs despite me and the tank telling him to stop multiple times. His reply every time was "just keep me healed" and "I just got this game...". It's the consistent stupidity that I can't tolerate...

    Kids I don't mind.

People not playing their class well, and completely failing at this easy game over and over (ie red circles mean move, check your debuffs) I do mind.
