What professions for what advanced class are you guys going.

I'm definitely going Powertech as I've been a tank (by choice) all of my mmo career, dabbling in dps and healing, but always coming back to be the meat. I was originally thinking Armstech, Scavenging, Investigation.. but now I'm leaning towards Cybertech, Scavenging, Underworld Trading.

If i decide to have a third character in the game it would be BH Mercenary havnt really looked into the other stuff for the class, ive just been focusing on my other choices.

I'm going Commando (that will never get old!) with Armormech, Scavenging and Underworld Trading.

Like the OP, I've typically played tanks so I'll be going Vanguard with Cybertech, Scavening and Underworld Trading. Though, everyone seems to want to go Cybertech so maybe I'll go Armormech instead...

I'm actually surprised at the love for Cybertech people are showing already.. maybe I'll swing to Biochem or Armstech if Cybertech is too heavy in my guild/friend grouping. The combo just seems so BH.

I am not positive i am thinkn going Merc with heat seekers or Tank... not positive atm.... on the other hand I will be going Bioanalysis/Biochem i feel it has the most upside and most practical purpose. End game armor and weapons will not be craftables they will be drops while they DO have their advantages i feel pots and stims have more. On the other hand i plan on rollin Diplomacy kuz i want to get the Darkside points high it may not be the most practical but i find it important to be the meanest/most evil i possibly ie. Cutting ppls heads off and bringing them to their wives can be with my Blue-BH also Darkside levels unlock cool titles....

Armormech so I can make my own armour and not have to rely solely on quests and commendations. Scavenging and Underworld Trading so I can get the material for said Armourtech

Armormech as well, cause my 2nd (IA) will have Biochem, which is basically an all-time-needed profession And I can provide both toons with sweet armor + med-stuff.
But I could slap myself, didn't spent enough time to check the endgear schematics on armormech, and the information on torhead/darthhater are a bit flawed. Some of them might even only drop in raids.
Afaik you can craft 2 tiers, one of them needs 'only' hard flashpoints drops, while the other an item from Operations. Still, the 'basic' RE-items were kinda awesome.

Though cybertech is decent as well, only tried out 4 professions and I'm still a bit puzzled, if I'd stick to my choice.
We have a lot of force-users in our guild, so these professions are out of question

I went armstec/scavenging/uwt. I also went for ranged dps.
