Sith Inquisitor - the rogue for Swtor

So, what you guys think ? A class that can be mage, healer, tank or a rogue I must admit i didnt see this coming. Imo it will be great, but i hope they wont make things to easy, and i honestly hope that "rogue" class wont have heals too....

Hahaha, no, i think the so called "rogue" tree is the tanking one. The heal one is with the mage ... correct me if i'm wrong.

Well assassins can go stealth like a rogue and be melee dps along with being able to tank if you take the proper talents. The "mage" is more like a priest/warlock that has range attacks and dots that can heal if you take the proper talents. It seems that they are allowing people that want to, to be able to go hybrid with a mix of them.

Yes, it can be tank / dps (rogue) or dps (mage) / healer ... we'll see plenty of Sith Inquisitors

Sith Inquisitor will be one of the most played classes in PvP, you can either be some kind of mage , or rogue ...
Imho those are good classes to have fun in PvP.

As the heals are from abilities, no matter how you spec, it will have some heals.
Thats my two cents and thanks for reading!

yes that's true, any AC that has healing potential can heal, even if not healing specced, you will have some heals

Lets just hope they make this kinda 'off healing' actually worth any potential loss of DPS that might result from it. Most times in other mmo's I've played, classes that have small heals aren't really optimized to use them without spending talents on those abilities. Now, if a lot of the talents have dual purposes and buff both heals and damage spells a little, then we're talking

With that said, I kind of hope that damage meters don't make it into the game. I tend to get tunnel vision on them and not worry about utility. If the devs have made a game where utility is more important than omgdps, I think they'll have this game in an awesome spot.

I agree with Trayer, but as for damage meters, although I really hate from WoW, they do have an utility in flashpoints/operations...for the leader to see who is slacking or who is not playing the class correctly. I mean ok, you don't need to be top 3 dps, but when the healer does more damage then you, there's a problem..and I'm affraid that dps meters help in this matter...OR we can do like in the old wow vanilla days, when someone was reading the combat log

With the lack of autoattacks, it's really easy to see who's being super active and who's not in smaller group settings. Granted, you've got a kinda know what their class can do and be paying attention. I see where you're coming from though and I agree that there needs to be some way to make sure everyone is pulling their weight.

I hope you don't include 4-man flashpoints in that statement lol

I don't know there are other classes that have similar strategies to the SI and will be great in PvP.

I really loved my Imperial Agent, the operative AC is very good in PvP from the videos I have seen. I am either going Assassin or Operative for my main.
