    Things I like

Some of the features in the game are a really nice little boost to quality of life in the game e.g.
    • The way you can just click on a node and your companion will stop and gather it while you carry on walking
    • The way quick travel works - no more forgetting to set your hearthstone. Once you have visited an area, you can quick travel to any of them on the planet.
    • The whole crafting system - no more farming!

I agree - makes things a little less bothersome. I like some of the humour included in the cut-scenes, it lightens the mood a little. I'm not too keen on my companion getting in the way all the time though, especially in a big fight or when trying to loot. I wish there was a way to be able to click through them. It's a very well thought out game though, leaves everything else standing. I honestly can't imagine returning to WoW.

Having played a few more days, there are now a few things I'd like to see:

    • Auto-stacking - when I move stuff to my bank, same items don't stack.
    • When hovering over an item, I'd like to see how many of them I have, and where they are (e.g. in the bank). Also, would be nice to see tooltips for all combat companions, not just the current active one.

Yeah, some stuff should really be stackable ... And you don't even have too much room on you or in bank. Gifts for example, would be nice to stack ...

There certainly is a lot to like in this game. I really like the crafting, not at all tedious like a lot of other games. I also enjoy the space combat, I know its basically a rail shooter. But it is a fun change of pace.

I would like to see the GTN changed to be a little more user friendly. And also be able to have an auction for more than 2 days.

I am really looking forward to seeing how this game grows in the coming months. I just hope BW doesn't pay too much attention to the QQ on the official forums and make it WoW in space with Mr T commercials.

I'd kill for auto-stacking like EVE has. It is getting kind of frustrating.

I also like it when one goes into an area where a lift is suppose to be but your not sure and then it comes down on top of you and DOESNT crush you to death lol, like in other games you would be dead.
Also i would like the timer in re-entering the PvP war zones be a lot less of a wait. One gets the feeling that by time you are allowed back in its all over.
Also hope they do something with the companion chats as i dont want to listen to other players companions winge and moan, Also is their away to turn off that annoying droid on your ship?. LOL (emmm maybe the jawa's might be usefull me thinking credits, and my droid does have a very good power converter) lol.

Deffently, gifts are annoying I end up giving my companion gift she does not want. Not a huge succes, just like giving your girlfriend some kitchen-tool, she glare are you!

    AoE Looting.

Seriously, if you haven't turned this on, it's in the settings. Basically, if you've got 3 dead mobs near eachother, and they've all got loot, you can loot one, and you'll pick up the stuff from all three.

In a game with as much AoE and mob grouping as this has, it'd be a dreadful clickfest after every pull. Good insight on the dev's part.

I really like that I can gather/craft with one companion as I am out fighting/questing with another

    The Good
    1. The map and it's fading ability upon movement.
    2. The quick travel and taxi terminals clearly have been well designed and NOT another hearthstone.
    3. The useful companions that can actually tank a battle
    4. Said companions can actually join you as a character in a group-instance like Hammer Station.
    5. We're still in the nice period of the game where not everyone is crammed into one little auction-house/GTN terminal.... beware the AH's of WoW!
    6. It feels like it's actually your own story line for once.
    7. The starship we all get.
    9. AoE looting and the very salient blue spire-lights that appear on the corpses!
    10. The way that all characters are actually rather equal and it's not just the stereotypical force users that kick ass.
    11. The shoot-to-heal things that snipers do!!

    The Bad
    1. Very little!
    2. You can very quickly under-level the story content and have to spend a lot of time doing side-quests. But this is actually quite good!
    3. Abilities at the trainer over a number of pages rather than just one, so that you can forget to click them.
    4. The modification stuff can often only be done at a workbench, annoying if you get a nice shiny thing and want it immediately!
    5. The way you can't directly compare picked up gear to your companions without opening numerous windows and just guessing. (Or can you!? I'd love to know!)
    6. The sky-high charges to learn riding and then 8k for the cheapest mount is not so cool!
    7. The often very confusing lack of role-assignments in the early 0-20 gameplay... you have to be quite explicit to your team members... On the same branch however - this means people pull together better.

In 5 years, when we look back on our first few months of the game and ask "what was to noobiest thing you did when you first started?"... I can officially say that I had been farming for a week before I read in the OldRebublic.net forum that I didn't have to stand still next to the node like I did in WoW.

Yes, it is in your options. When you hover over an items it will compare it to what you are wearing and your companions. There is also an option to see what -'s and +'s each item would potentially give you if you equiped it. I love it!
Courage isn't the absence of fear, it's the presence of fear yet the will to go on.
